Morgan Hoenig
Research Associate
Morgan Hoenig joined Ross & Associates in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, she received a bachelor of arts in environmental studies from the University of Washington and worked as Environmental Affairs Coordinator for the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. In this position Morgan was in charge of tracking the property’s environmental initiatives in a quarterly report. This information ranged from small departmental resource-saving efforts to property-wide energy efficiency programs. Based on the initiatives submitted in the tracking, Morgan proposed new strategies for increasing the hotel’s sustainability.
Morgan also spent time working for the City of Seattle in early 2011 and was a part of the teaching team for ENVIR 100, an introductory environmental studies course at the University of Washington. At the City, her work focused on assessing the potential of integrating the Triple Bottom Line into the city’s decision-making and project-approval processes.
In her free time Morgan enjoys travelling, cooking, playing tennis, reading, and exploring Seattle.
