National Air Program Vision and Goals

Ross & Associates provided comprehensive facilitation, analytic, and communications support to the U.S. EPA’s Clean Air Act Advisory Committee (CAAAC) in its development of the February 2009 Vision and Guiding Principles for the National Air Program Report. Ross & Associates facilitated a multi-stakeholder group of national experts from government, academia, industry, and NGOs to develop a consensus vision, set of guiding principles, and priority action areas for improving air quality management programs implemented by federal, state, local, and tribal government partners. The report built on past CAAAC recommendations, as well as the National Academy of Science’s 2004 report on Air Quality Management in the U.S., and is being used by the CAAAC to guide and inform its subsequent work, deliberations, and guidance to U.S. EPA.
