Washington Department of Health Community Health Assessment Information System
Ross & Associates developed an online survey that was sent out to all the Local Health Jurisdictions (LHJs) in Washington State. The survey results were analyzed based on the population served by the LHJs and their existing infrastructure and policies to provide a holistic picture of the different public user communities and needs in the state. The survey results were used to develop requirements for an information system for community health assessments. Ross & Associates evaluated two software options available to the WA DOH and identified their pros and cons. Ross & Associates also identified total cost of ownership and the software development path forward for the WA DOH.
